Whelan Pest Prevention were succesfully awarded with the work to clear this dis-used unit near Andover measuring 3,000 sqft. The building was heavily infested with pigeons and Guano. Following the completion of a stringent Risk Assesment and Method Statement. Whelan Pest Prevention were also requested to install pigeon nets to prevent further ingression of pigeons.

The pigeons were mainly nesting in the suspended ceiling tiles which all had to be removed and cleaned. There were in excess of 700 pigeons which were dispatched by our qualified Marksman. We then cleaned the beams with a specialised cleaner that kills all the parasites and bugs associated with Guano before the floors were scrubbed clean.  We also gave a full detail of waste transfer for auditing purposes.
